What is the one piece of EMS equipment used the most and trained on the least?

Ambulance crashes kill more EMS providers than all other causes combined.

What is your reputation worth?

How many ambulance crashes can you or your agency afford this year?

Ambulance crashes kill more EMS providers than all other causes combined. If you're like most, you probably don't sit around contemplating these issues. I can assure you that the ambulance operators who have been involved in a crash have thought about these quite often and probably wish they had thought more about it before their crash.

If your ambulance crashes, will you hire the cheapest lawyer available? Why take an emergency driving safety course that is the cheapest or quickest to “just get by”? Don’t settle for anything less than “driving EMS excellence" through T.E.A.M.!

The most dangerous part of EMS is responding to and returning from an emergency call. T.E.A.M. (Total Emergency Ambulance Management) Driving Concepts was founded by EMS personnel for other EMS professionals, with the sole purpose of researching, developing, marketing and presenting one of the most comprehensive emergency driving safety courses available for EMS and the ambulance. We strive to make it easy, convenient and cost effective for EMS personnel to attain the specific knowledge, skills and attitudes for today's highly specialized ambulance operator.

Our courses are based upon and exceed the National Standard Curriculum, EVOC, established by the U.S. Department of Transportation's (USDOT) National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA). Don't ever settle for a course that is NOT based on EVOC.

Oftentimes we are compared to firefighters or law enforcement officers when it comes to emergency vehicle driving. Firefighters haul vital equipment and precious water. Law enforcement officers are trained in high speed pursuit techniques, but the ambulance operator is transporting a sick or injured family member that may need continuous care and life saving treatment. Have you ever seen a fire truck or police car transport a paralyzed trauma patient on a backboard with an IV running? Operating the ambulance involves specific knowledge, skills and attitudes that are unique to EMS and the ambulance operator as traffic conditions are never normal when an ambulance approaches.

ANNOUNCING: T.E.A.M.’s course is now a nationally recognized emergency vehicle operator safety course. Contact our office to schedule an instructor course for your area, today.
